LILY PREGNASSA PLUS – Composition

LILY PREGNASSA PLUS – Action
Advance formula for pregnancy with DHA and 25 vitamins and minerals. It contains L-Methyl Folate, an advanced form of Folic Acid. Folates, together with Vitamin B12, is necessary to form red blood cells. Folate contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy. Folate lowers the risk of your unborn baby having a neural tube defect (NTD). Spina bifida and anencephaly are the most common NTDs.
Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) guarantees the proper development of the brain and eyesight of the unborn child. In addition, it reduces the probability of preterm labor and postpartum depression. It reduces the risk of birth of a child with low birth weight.
Vitamin D has a role in the process of cell division, contributes to the maintenance of normal bones (together with Calcium).
Iron is needed to make extra blood (hemoglobin) for baby during pregnancy. Iron also helps move oxygen from lungs to the rest of body and to fetus.
Iodine contributes to normal production of thyroid hormones and function.
LILY PREGNASSA PLUS – Indications
The product used to treat or prevent vitamins, minerals and DHA deficiency before, during, and after pregnancy, especially up to 12 weeks of pregnancy.
LILY PREGNASSA PLUS - Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation. Consult a doctor about the use of the preparation in the cases of iron overload disorder (e.g., hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis), liver problems, stomach/intestinal problems (e.g., ulcer, colitis), vitamin B12 deficiency (pernicious anemia), bleeding disorders.
The product contains a high dose of Iron, therefore constipation, diarrhea, or upset stomach may occur. These effects are usually temporary and may disappear as your body adjusts to this product. If any of these effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Iron may cause your stools to turn black, an effect that is not harmful.
Remember that your doctor has prescribed this product because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this product do not have serious side effects. Tell your doctor right away if occur: easy bleeding / bruising.
This product is safe to take during pregnancy when used as directed. Ingredients of this product passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
LILY PREGNASSA PLUS - Dosage
Two sachets daily. The contents of the sachet should be dissolved in full glass of water or juice and drunk immediately after preparation. This product is best taken on an empty stomach 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. If stomach upset occurs, you may take this medication with food. Avoid taking antacids, dairy products, tea, or coffee within 2 hours before or after LILYPREGNASSA PLUS. Do not lie down for at least 10 minutes after taking this product. Do not exceed recommended servings for consumption during the day.
LILY PREGNASSA PLUS – Storage
The product should be protected from direct light, stored in a dry place, in its original packaging, at a temperature below 25°C. The product should be stored out of the reach of young children.
